The Studio Space

My studio’s interior is continuously and thoughtfully updated by Sandi Kaneko Interiors to keep things modern, clean, and fresh.

I work with designers for create unique sets that change every season. I have TWO ever-changing season floral installations 2 of my studio areas. Violette’s Flowers designs a new floral set 3 times a year for the studio.

I started Sachiko Studio as an outdoor wedding & portrait photographer. The actual studio space came later. I’ve always preferred the beauty and ease of using natural light for photography. I keep the natural light flowing in and compliment it with the world’s best studio lighting by ProFoto.

I am an avid curator (hoarder) of handmade luxury photo props and I have curated over 150 women & children’s clothing pieces for you to wear at your shoot as well. Bras, shoes, diapers, food, nursing pads, lol…I have it all in-studio for you to use.

The Originator of the “Open Air Studio”

My husband & I are the originators of the “Open Air Studio.” During the 1st summer of the pandemic, we realized we could make an indoor/outdoor studio using my studio’s roll up door.

And so…during the 1st holiday season of the Pandemic, I built a custom holiday set inside the studio garage area and offered distanced “open air studio” sessions. The photos look like they’re in studio but you’re facing outdoors, soaking up the beautiful natural light (AND keeping COVID free with the fresh air).

We kept my clients safe and COVID free while still providing them in studio sessions. I have 2 open air studio spaces today and use them for the spring and fall season shoots.
