My Why

Its been an emotional year for me with the sudden passing of my father-in-law, my grandma Sachiko’s declining health and “the grind”. I wasn’t prioritizing me, because I was too busy taking care of others or working. I want to be the best for my family, but before I can do that, I have to take care of my well-being.

I gave myself a self-love shoot earlier this month and experienced a wonderful reset. I was inspired to duplicate the bliss I experienced while my team pampered me, so I created the Self-Love Portrait Experience.

This mother’s day season I’m prioritizing the self-care experience as a reminder to my clients to take the time out for themselves.

Sessions with me start usually at $1900, but I’ve slashed the price to give you NO EXCUSE to self care. These sessions are giftable with an e-gift certificate upon request.

I also kicked-off my first ever “nominate a mom in need” campaign and found 2 deserving moms to gift this experience to. Utilizing dried pampas & palm fronds and paper & silk flowers, this limited edition one-of-a-kind set is a boho style neutral-toned slice of paradise, situated in my natural light studio.

Set Options

Limited Edition-Blush+Grey

Sit or lie down on a luxurious blush velvet settee against a backdrop of dark grey, dried pampas branches and a neutral gold floor. This is situated in my natural light studio.

Year-Round Options

During your shoot consultation, I’ll review the year-round in-studio set options. From a blue marble wall, egg chair set, vibrant mural to modern solid backgrounds in shades of grey, black, white, beige & navy.

Self-Love Solo Session

A relaxing photo session experience in the serenity of my luxurious studio. You’ll be welcomed with top shelf beverages & sweets, followed by personalized styling session. We’ll complete your look with professional hair & makeup by an expert artist. I’ll guide you through an easy, relaxing portrait session on your choice of unlimited sets. You’ll receive a framed print to commemorate this time to yourself.

  • Yes, he’s welcome to join us for the Family Love photo session experience. He can arrive once you’re done with your beauty services if you like.

  • Yes of course! I supply a style guide with advice on what to bring. Borrowing from my curated collection is optional and you can bring your own and decide at the shoot if you want to borrow a dress.

    Older generations of moms usually like to bring their own clothes.

    I recommend to have the family stay in a specific color pattern, and to stray away from florals, or prints, which we’ll detail in the style guide.

  • Yes of course! The reschedule fee is $100. The latest date I can move your shoot to would be late May/early June. Availability is very limited and if a weekend is needed, I may only have 1 date option to choose from if any.

  • Yes of course! Refer a friend and you’ll each receive a complimentary pair of files.
