Front Steps Project – Overview
In March 2020, I began offering Front Steps Photo Sessions for a cause. These are 5-10 minute photo sessions taken on your doorsteps (or front yard). I remain 10 feet away at all times. These sessions will help you document this unique time in your life where we all have been confined to our homes.
My Front Steps clients all agree that the feeling during these sessions is one of normalcy and happiness! These photos are good for your soul AND help raise money for a cause.
Each month I’ve chosen a cause that is near & dear to my heart.
In April, I photographed 33+ famlies and raised $1,900 for Foothill Unity Center, a food bank just down the street from my studio. Thank you to all who donated!
Front Steps Project 2: Small Business Love
I am dedicating May to a special group of local small businesses. I’d like to introduce you to some local small business that are near and dear to my heart. They’re a mix of local places from my childhood, woman owned by clients and girlfriends, local favorites that I don’t want to see suffer, and restaurants owned by talented chefs who happen to be long time friends.
In May, spend $50 at one or any combination of these businesses on my list below and receive a free Front Steps Photo!
You’ll receive a gallery of 5-8 images, from which you’ll be able to choose 1 to keep. You may purchase more for $25/each. You’ll also receive a complimentary style guide with advice on what to wear for your photos.
HOW IT WORKS
If you want more of a photo SESSION, upgrade to the 10 minute extended session, where I take photos in multiple spots in your yard and do more variations of photos (ie kids only, pets only etc). This upgrade is $150 and I will deliver 12+ files to you to keep. This option can be selected during time of booking.
The family who spends THE MOST at one or more of these stores will be rewarded with a complimentary studio mini photo session to use later when the quarantine ends (Value $425). Submit your receipts by 5/31/2020. The Winner will be announced on my blog, IG & Facebook on 6/1/2020.
Clients who donated to my First Front Steps fundraiser back in March & April may enter the contest too!
