During just about the last weekend before the real Fall weather started, I spent some time with the Kubota family. It was a perfect summer afternoon at the Arboretum in Arcadia. Kara & Ryan are both hapa (like me!)….mixed Japanese & Caucasian. Its very seldom that you meet a couple who both are hapa. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever met a hapa couple! In the coming week, you’ll get to meet Kara & Ryan’s adorable daughters, but for now, I wanted to pay special attention to this beautiful couple.
During our photo session, with 2 young children keeping them plenty busy, Kara & Ryan remained stone cold calm, happy and laid back the entire time. Who can do that? I know I can’t! Judging by all the googly puppy dog eyes they were giving each other all day, they are still very much in love and adore each other dearly. Meet googly eyed Kara & Ryan!
